Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The babies were at the crib, as I was strapped with an infant to my back. Ha! It was beginning to seem logical, however it wasn't quite finished. To furnish the home, it was going to be a huge effort both in budget and time. I would also have to go out and shop for my most-loved items. To keep the cost within my means I took my sons with me to look for gems hidden in estate sales. Our routine was to walk around auctions and garage sales on the weekend, and buy a variety of furniture, both new and old constructed. I'd spend my workdays at the end of the driveway, working on painting or sanding. What I saw looked something like... this is the moment my love for restoring furniture began. The issue was not whether our house had already been decorated. Markets in town had room for me to sell pieces. It was possible to expand the area because I had many more pieces than I could use. My home was where I started hosting open houses where more than 1000 guests could visit to purchase anything they wanted on the first floor over the course of a weekend. Growing Days was created in the home. When my business grew and so did our small family. It was like I found the ideal balance between being a mum and starting my new venture. Growing Days seemed like the perfect combination. Nora was born in 2013 to be our fourth baby. I adored where my business was heading but I needed some time off. I decided to stop working on my antique furniture for a few months and stay home with the children. That was exactly what I needed at the moment. After a few months that the phones started to call. There were calls from people asking me to assist them in interior decor and home renovations. They were mostly people who visited my house for furniture. I began to take on customers one by one working at my own pace but it didn't take for long to have several accounts, and I was operating a complete home renovation business. When you first spoke to me about your home remodeling business I laughed. In fact, I laugh slightly when I recall it.
