Zazie Beetz, born in 1991, was born in Berlin. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker, who emigrated into America. United States following the fall of the Berlin Wall. She attended the same high school that was attended by Jennifer Aniston. Beetz continued her French education at Skidmore College, after graduating LaGuardia. After college she immediately auditioned and won the part as Van at Atlanta. She was born in Berlin to the parents of a German father and an African-American mother, Beetz was brought up in New York speaking both German as well as English at home. Zazie was a stage performer in the community and on stage in New york since her childhood. Zazie discovered that she enjoyed acting while at school. Zazie's Disney Channel Breakout Role Zendaya's dancing skills certainly paid off. She was finally cast in her debut role of Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the popular show Shake It Up. Zendaya was 11 years old while in a trip for the family when she stumbled upon an animal processing plant. PEOPLE says that Zendaya told, "I found it horrifying seeing the entire animals that were being crammed into the slaughterhouse, waiting to die." This was not how I would eat my food! She's since adhered to a vegan diet.
