Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France, was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey Tautou is an oldest child out of 4. Audrey's parents, both a dental dentist and a teacher, recognized and supported their daughter's passion for acting and drama on the age of a stage novice. The support they provided was more than enough to combat her ambition to be a primatologist. As a young woman, her rise to stardom was rapid and marked with early successes. Prior to beginning an acting career Tautou participated in Jeunes Premiers which was a French television show that sought to find talent that was sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. She also won the title of Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou, who attended the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and enrolled in the school at an early age, has disavowed her Catholic education. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. As well as her acting profession she also pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense interest in photography and recently exhibited her work at the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. The focus of her photography is celebrities, fame and the media that scrutinised her after her fame-making debut with Amelie. Additionally, there are numerous photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big part in the film Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office hit, receiving accolades during awards ceremonies across all over the world. It is currently the highest-grossing French language movie on the market in US. After the film, she appeared in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
