Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She was also recognized for her television debut as Eleni Andros cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. The upcoming television series Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
